Beer boxing is a dice game that is also a
drinking game. It is fast paced and a lot of fun to play with friends or to
prove your superiority by putting your opponent on the ground! For this great
game you will need one set of dice, four or five people, a stopwatch or regular
watch, two shot glasses, and enough beer to get a knockout. How to play: there
are only two players that actually drink, but each player has a trainer (that's
where two others come in, and there's nothing that says any onlookers can't
enjoy a cold one while they're watching the match!); a referee, the two shot
glasses; and one die. It is best if each player sits in a chair at a table
facing each other with their trainers keeping the beer-filled shot glasses next
to the players on the table. Each player must start with the same amount of beer
(preferably a new, full one). The trainers are in charge of keeping the
fighters' shot glasses filled the whole time. They will fill their respective
"fighters" shot glass with beer. The referee, if you choose to use one, will
start the "fight". The objective is for each fighter to roll the highest number
possible with their one die. The one with the lower number will have to "shoot"
the beer that their trainer poured for them. The trainer then fills it right
back up. The whole time, the designated referee will be keeping time on the
watch. Each round is 3 minutes long, and the number of rounds varies on the
"fighters" choice. Beginner exhibition rounds can be four or five 3 minute
rounds, and championship matches can be 12 or even more. The winner of each
round is determined by how many drinks they took. The "fighter" with the lesser
number of drinks wins and each "fighter's" trainer will keep track of their
drinks. A total victory happens when players finish the number of rounds and the
winner of the most rounds is totaled up, or if one player is "knocked out" by
giving up or stopping the match. |
